Protection Ritual Information and Instructions

Materials Needed:

• Protection Loose Ritual Incense
• Charcoal disc (Suggested but not required)
• Cauldron (Suggested but not required)
• Small jar of Amethyst chips
• Single Black Obsidian crystal
• Black candle
• Lighter or Matches
• Moon water spritzer

 

Items and Their Significance

1. Protection Loose Ritual Incense: A blend of sacred herbs and resins chosen for their protective properties, purifying the atmosphere and strengthening the barrier against harm.
2. Amethyst chips: Amethyst, renowned for its protective qualities, forms a barrier against negative energies and psychic intrusions, enveloping the practitioner and their space in a cocoon of spiritual safety.
3. Black Obsidian crystal: A potent stone for grounding and protection, it acts as a guardian, absorbing and transmuting negativity while providing a shield against malevolent forces.
4. Black candle: Symbolizes the banishment of negativity and the establishment of boundaries, casting a protective cloak around the practitioner and their surroundings.
5. Moon Water Spray: Moon water imbues the ritual with the gentle, nurturing energy of the moon, enhancing psychic awareness and strengthening the practitioner's connection to the divine.

Each of these items are chosen not just for their practical uses in the ritual, but also for their symbolic meanings and metaphysical properties, which are thought to enhance the effectiveness of this ritual. This combination of elements helps to create a balanced and powerful magical practice focused on enhancing protective and safe energy.

 

Ritual

1. Setting Up: Begin setting up your altar by placing the cauldron (if using) in the center. If not using a cauldron simply put the Protection Loose Ritual Incense in a bowl in the center of your altar and skip step 3. Lay out the Amethyst chips in a circle around the cauldron and positions the Black Obsidian crystal at its front. 
2. Cleansing the Space: Before starting, spritz the area with moon water, chanting:

• "Bathed in moon's glow, bless this water, imbue our space with light and protection, grace this altar with celestial embrace."

3. Lighting the Incense: Place a charcoal disc inside the cauldron and light it. Once it's glowing, sprinkle the Protection Loose Ritual Incense over it, watching as the smoke begins to rise, filling the air with its protective scent and begin calling in energies of safety and defense.
4. Lighting the Candles: Speak your incantation of protection as you watch the flame flicker and dance.
5. Incantation: Recite the incantation (provided below) with intention and conviction 3 times.:
• "In this sacred space I stand, Protected by the unseen hand. With amethyst and obsidian's might, I banish darkness, invite the light. By fire's flame and incense's scent, I cast this spell, my intent is sent. Moon water's touch, the candle's glow, Enwrap me in safety, let negativity go. As I will, so mote it be, This protection ritual sets me free."
6. Meditate and Visualize:
• Sit quietly in meditation, basking in the glow of the candlelight and the warmth of your protective cocoon, knowing that you are safe and secure.
7. Close the Ritual:
• Allow the candle and incense to burn out completely. Conclude your ritual by grounding yourself and expressing gratitude to the elements and forces that assisted you.

This ritual and the corresponding items create a potent setting for a powerful release from attachment, utilizing the magical properties of each component to enhance the overall effect. By carefully performing these actions, step into your power and shape the world around you through your newfound magical skills.
